Launched on February 4. 2004, Facebook will officially become a publicly traded company today. The 2nd most popular site on the internet boasts almost 1 billion users and will be for traded under the FB symbol for $38 a share. I began to use Facebook sometime in 2006, but it was not really used much by myself or anyone I knew much until 2008. In 2009 the site reached a “Tipping Point” and popped. It’s too bad the Founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg is a slime ball. I won’t take away what he has done in the years since, but the film “The Social Network”, by David Fincher and book that it was based on, “The Accidental Millionaires” shows how Zuckerberg had to rip off a bunch of his Harvard Colleagues to create the popular website. They can update the title to “The Accidental Billionaires” as of today.
The view from my seat at “An evening with Adam Carolla and Dennis Prager”. Adam was his usual hilarious self. It was awesome to see how quick he was in person. That dude is a gunslinger if I have ever seen one!
